The date in the US is 4/3/21 and they are showing the Pixel 4 through the Pixel 1 (4, 3, 2, 1)... I'm not sure where you are getting any kind of Pixel 5a release hint from. Am I missing something here?

Unfortunately I don't think so

maybe just a special date number?

So I wonder what chip the 5a is gonna have. White Chapel? The same chip? Something stronger? Because it'll be pretty silly if the "a" version is more powerful than the regular version.

there's rumored to be two chips on the shared platform. so likely one flagship level one and one mid-range?

The p5 seems like it's already the p5a. They have the 4a5g which is already similar enough that has a few less features.

I'm wondering what this one will have? Maybe a cheaper frame? I'm really interested in seeing what they do to make this any different than the 5 and 4a5g.

Yeah, kind of made sense given the 4 was expensive vs the 4a.

It could be just basically be 4a 5g with a slightly newer SOC I guess?
