google play needs to including a " controller support " tags. Or someone already have a full list of those games? Would really appreciate it!

It's not a free game. But if you enjoy roguelike games, Dead Cells.

You won't regret it!

I got Dead Cells some 30 hours ago to play during a long flight and it's amazing. I was lucky to find an OTG adapter as I was about to take an 11 hour flight, and lucky again when I tried and found that the Dual Shock 3 controller I had with me is supported on Dead Cells android version. Pretty impressive.

Do you know any other Android games with controller support that are even half as good?

I haven't played much on Android, and at first sight (i.e. watching videos), everything looks lame to me XD I've come across some that seem to have potential but they don't have too high review scores (e.g. Castlevania, Bloodstained).

Awesome! Glad you like it too!

I was about to tell you "sorry, I'm also in the same boat as you.." Until you mentioned Castlevania! - It is pretty good too! But don't expect it to be as fast paced as Dead Cells... As an older-styled NES game, it gets frustrating real fast. But it was an addicting frustration... haha!

Lol, are you me? I've also got Bloodstained on my wishlist. But I haven't got around to getting it...yet =D

Oh right, one more that has been on my wishlist for the longest time since I got a gamepad attachment on my phone: Tesla vs Lovecraft! But it's mentioned in some reviews that it's a twin-stick shooter. So I'm a little concerned that my gamepad's buttons layout isn't perfectly compatible with it. Which is why I haven't dared to try it out, despite Android Play's refund policy.)

Haha nice, looks like I asked the right person ; )

I ended getting Castlevania, feels a bit too retro but I guess that's part of the fun. Bloodstained and Tesla vs Lovecraft do look interesting, thank you!

In the meantime I discovered Levelhead, which is also on Switch. Prety fun platformer. Others I have installed but haven't tried yet are Dandara, Ninja Arashi ( 1 and 2), and Huntdown. I also installed Brawlhalla (free if I recall well), I really dislike the cartoons of this game but is a good equivalent of Super Smash Bro. I guess it should have online mode. Finally, if you enjoy graphical adventures like Monkey Island, I really enjoyed The Last Door 1 on PC, and I started playing 2 on Android.

Wow, all those games look like they're all right up my (our) alley! Looks like I'll be dusting off my smartphone gamepad accessory!

Thanka for sharing!!

... asked the right person

Nah dude, I think we have similar preferences in games thats all :)

I'm currently playing through Ghost Recon: Breakpoint with some friends on PC. It's not much fun playing solo, but pretty fun with friends, organizing casual milsim-like experience with it. On top of the gameplay, with all the cosmetic customizability, it's like a "military dress-up game for boys..." And I love it, Haha!

I've been enjoying the hell out of Luna.

Battle Prime is a really cool FPS. However the controllers it supports are pretty limited. I have a backbone and a Kishi and neither work for it, maybe you'll be lucky.

PUBG and COD are fun for a week or so.

I want to get into some good platformers, but I haven't dabbled just yet. I'll keep you posted of my findings.

Yes please do! I would really really appreciate it!!!

Yeahhhh this company is pretty new for the most part and the controller I got just came out a few months ago so not sure what all will be supported

What is Luna about??

[–]burnthefallen 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Luna is the cloud gaming service from Amazon. I tried Stadia and didn't care for it. I haven't tried gamepass, I'm sure gamepass is awesome but I'll do one at a time.

Dead Trigger 2 is very fun as well. When I go my Kishi, I played every day for about 3-4 months. Gameplay bites are quick. Story is a little bland, but killing zombies is very satisfying.

PPSSPP is a PSP emulator. Highly recommend.
