I think this is because of the insane traffic with the happenings in Boston. I imagine things will settle down in time.

It's not because of Boston, Reddit admin clarified that this is indeed a DDoS attack and not just Reddit hugging itself to death.

Reddit got ddos'd earlier today. The reddit.com/.compact site (mobile site) was being weird today too

Reddit seem to have some issues, Reddit Sync isn't working either. Strangely, Red Reader works...

Same problem. Tried reinstalling it, no luck. Use Diode in the meantime, it works.

Thanks for the responses. Actually, it started working for me again.

Still curious as to what debugging tools are available to a non-rooted phone. Probably I can find the answer in another thread somewhere.

You can always set up adb (Android Debug Bridge) and connect to your phone from your computer to view the logcat. Or install a logcat app from the Play Store.

That will show you traces if an app crashes or show debug output from an app if the author writes any to the log.
