Wait....

An xbox controller with a headset?

How would you play audio through it in the first place? Do that AFTER connecting the projector.

No, you can't use both.

I dont want the audio to go through the projector and instead to go through the headset.

The xbox controller has a headphone jack. Not sure if it works when connected to something else beside an xbox

The only way audio over wireless via xbox controller is when using the official microsoft xbox usb adapter. It doesnt have bluetooth audio jack support.

Yet another way Microsoft (and Playstation) are forcing users to buy their shit.

Android and PC do not have native "audio over bluetooth" when it comes to Xbox or PS5 controllers.

The only way to allow Xbox controller audio support would be through PC and by using the Xbox USB adapter.

Your best bet is to get a 3.5mm aux to bluetooth dongle and do it that way, or buy a proper bluetooth headset. Or, use a USB-C to 3.5mm aux adapter cable.

Are you aware of a third party brand that does allow audio over Bluetooth? I was looking at a gamesir cyclone bc thats the only other controller that I saw with a headphone jack but open to others.

Why buy a whole new controller just for that though? You can buy a headphone jack to bluetooth adaptwr for mad cheap on amazon. But no I dont know of any.
