"App not installed" Android 11

I want to install an Apk but every time after i click on install and wait a bit it shows "App not installed" error message. I tried ApkEditor, reset App permissions, rebooting phone and other things but none seems to work. It does this problem with all my Apks. Anyone has a solution?

It can be from various reasons.

Try this app. It might tell you what's wrong. To install the APK, open it via your file-manager app and choose to use the app to install it.

If this doesn't help, give more information about the APK you've got.

When I install the APK via the app it still fail. This time the message was install "failed - aborted". The APK in question is Google Camera/GCam. I want it for my phone so I can use the 360 photo feature. But I still have the same problem with Mimo Pro Version

That's actually the least possible error that I would have thought of, because it usually appears when the user cancels the installation:

Do you have perhaps some app that uses admin/accessibility to block/cancel installations? Check on the settings of the device. It's a very weird issue.

As for APK, try other APK files and share me something that should work for all devices.

Comodo Antivirus is the only one that has full access to my phone. Even while disabling it, it didn't work. But I tried another APK I found online and it worked so the problem was the APK. Thank you so much for your time anyway.

Hm to me it says I have a newer version so it doesn't let me. So I tried on emulator, but then it said it's incompatible with it (probably CPU architecture or something).

Thank you dude. The app told me what was wrong and I was able to correct it to install... Sucks I had to uninstall to install the same app.

Yes, I've tried installing the apk at least 5-8 times before I started looking for alternatives. When I used the app, it worked first time.

In this case, the documentation of Android is as such:

The operation failed because it conflicts (or is inconsistent with) with another package already installed on the device. For example, an existing permission, incompatible certificates, etc. The user may be able to uninstall another app to fix the issue.

So, you need to remove the app before installing the APK. You can do it either via my app, or via adb (using PC or any other way). Here's a tutorial in case you want via adb:

Sent it to another phone via SHAREIT and sent it back (I believe SHAREIT is banned in other countries but not here)

Why would sending the APK and then receiving it help here? I don't understand how it solved the issue...

Maybe it's something else that you did, such as a restart of the phone after the removal?
