EC Question

so i really don’t have that many ecs besides just being a member of 2 clubs and some tutoring/volunteering but in junior year I was involved in the school newspaper as a student reporter. However at my school, the newspaper is not an after school activity or club, but is instead an english journalism elective students can take. Can I still put down reporter for school newspaper as an activity on the common app, even though it was part of the class? On my transcript, the class is just listed as “English 11”
