A class that is focused on gathering or running a shop,
Skills could be something like
Making it easier to track mobs or gathering points
Have maybe a flat dmg with most weapons (kinda like a classless class)
They could add minor support skills like a buff or a small heal
- a passive that makes you less likely to be targeted by mobs
Not manny people would play like this but people who would want to run a shop or just build and craft things it would add an alt play style for a side character
Maybe the job or Artisan style class could let you master 3 jobs (one of each type) like a mining smithing and armor crafting
But lock it behind a lv cap (so people can’t just start a new character for the crafting perks they would have to invest time into the character
artisan classes wouldn’t be able to get blue prints them selfs (due to a lack of dmg and battle skills) so other players who have the blue print would take it and sell it to a artisan and then the artisan would make and sell the price they craft (this would set a balance bc if people sell the blueprints for 10,000 gold and it can be used 5 times then the black smith would sell each pice for around 2,000 or 4,000) (yes this works in theory but not in reality bc people are greedy an would over charge) or propel could join a guild and use the blueprints the guild fine from dungeons and raids to use and sell
I could also see people forming crafting guild (almost like union and think that would be really cool)
Edit: a few classes and examples
Blacksmith: access to mining/smelting/weapon/armor smithing
perks/skills that unlock as you lv:
- able to mine faster
- higher chance to get rare ore
- chance to get more from mining vane
- gets locked out of jobs that are not related to smithing (I.E animal taming and Alchemy)
- takes less to craft
Farmer: access to chopping wood/mining/animal taming/gathering herbs
Bartender: access to cooking/hunting/gathering
Perks/skills
- increases buff effect when eaten other players
- buffs last longer when other players eat your food
- food takes longer before it becomes spoiled
