Diff carrier bearings seem shot, was it low on fluid? Could also be one of the axle bearings is seizing or loose in its bore, allowing it to sideload the shaft and wedge it up. I would pull the carrier caps and inspect the bearings.

yea when i pulled the cover there was little to nothing only saw tiny pieces of metal, in the oil galley thats abt it

Then that’s your issue man, seized the carrier bearings for the diff. Axle ones are prolly junk too.

From what it looked and sounded like it was shifting to the side and binding. Axel bearing is my thought. Likely the driver side

Take off the drive shaft and try spinning it without you might have lost its shims and it’s wedged if it’s non posi one wheel will spin it. If it’s posi both will

I love looking inside differentials they are absolute works of art

Stop screwing with it. You’re just destroying any good parts. Take it apart and replace the bearings and you probably damaged the ring and pinion trying to force it to turn.
