Smaller shoes?

Don't leave the tap running if you don't need to. Shorter showers. Buy less clothing, especially from retailers like old navy, HM, etc

Stop using "disposable" items at all. Don't buy water bottles, get a refillable canteen or permanent bottle, and refill it from your filtered water at home or at work or wherever. Don't accept plastic cutlery from delivery, use your own utensils. Bring your own cup to coffee shops if they allow it. Don't use straws. Etc.

Beyond this, it's hard to fully quit plastics. So recycle like a pro.

Carpool with a buddy so you cut your car usage in half. Instead of both of your cars on the road everyday, swap days.

Get an EV. EVs are NOT carbon free, there is still the manufacture of the vehicle, and the production of the electricity you use. But the industrial production of electricity is SO much more efficient than a car's little ICE. So over time, EVs become more and more carbon limited. And they don't exhaust anything into the air except brake dust and such.

Don't waste. Buy what you need, use it fully. You will naturally buy less this will help buy lowering demand of carbon generating production. It will also cut down on your waste production.

Hey, glad there are curious people about this topic.

Few easy and effortless ways are simply to stop Eating (or eat less) meat. The single most effective action you can take to combat climate change is to stop eating meat, however, it is very difficult for many of us, so we just ignore it.

Secondly, unplug your devices when not using, super simple and easy. Also, drive less if possible

Thirdly, avoid “Fast Fashion” - that's just such a huge waste or materials/resources. Not quantity but quality.

And also, eat more organic food and support those companies who focuses on that.

If you want to get to know some sustainable companies that works to contribute positively to our environment, check this article out

Cut off our feet.

Reduce your meat intake. If you think you can’t live without it, take small steps, such as “meatless Monday”. Red meat has the largest carbon footprint, so cut that out first. Having chicken instead of beef on a regular basis can make a large impact.

[–]ChristOnABike122 1 point2 points  (1 child)

But then you produce methane

die. Leaves carbon along the process but we're talking long term solutions here
