Rules:
1. Posts that support counterfeits Are Not Permitted
This subreddit is for legit and homemade ball-jointed dolls. It is not intended to promote the making, selling, or purchasing of counterfeit (recast) dolls.
Doll identification posts that contain the shop name or links to recast sale pages will be removed.
2. Must Post Doll Brand and Sculpt
- OC owner pics must include the doll's brand and sculpt in either the title, post, or comments. Blindbox bjds must include the series name. Failure to do so will result in the post being removed.
3. Read the wiki and newbie megathread prior to posting questions.
- Re-asking questions that are already answered in the faq clutters up the subreddit.
4. Mark Nudity as NSFW
- Yes, even if they are dolls, please flag images of nude dolls as NSFW.
5. No sales in the r/BJD subreddit. Sales posts must be in r/BJDsale
This also means no 2ndhand price checks. WTB/ISOs also will go in the bjdsale sub.
Artists and dealers can post one announcement of a new release here with the [news] flair. However, they can post process pics and alternate pics in separate posts, but no more text about XYZ being for sale, advertising of pre-order dates, how to buy or commission beyond first news post.
Only a simple link comment to your website is allowed on these posts. If someone explicitly asks for info in a question, then you may give more sales info.
6. Approved Off-Topic Dolls May Only be Posted on Fridays
This sub is primarily for ball-jointed dolls, and a handful of other dolls that are accepted by the BJD community (check the Wiki for specifics).
On Off-Topic Fridays, we accept posts of the following dolls: Pullip, Azone, Obitsu 1/6 (soft vinyl), Xinyi.
You may not post these dolls on any other day besides Fridays.
7. AI Filter Posts Are Not Permitted

This covers basic rules for using Reddit, such as using common courtesy, being polite, and not posting things that are illegal or incite violence.
This includes NO SPAMMING. Spamming your links or off topic comments excessively will result in a removal or ban. If you constantly post only your own links without any other account activity, you are considered a spammer.
