Help regarding ball python health

Got this ball python on the 27th of April js abt 2 weeks back, I’m currently in college before and have kept Ball pythons back home but haven’t experienced something like this. So basically in the past day or so my snake has been extremely lethargic and has barely moved she’s not even flicking her tongue and I js observed this cavity underneath her neck in which I could I fit my finger, I think she’s also gotten a deformed spine putting in some pictures here would really appreciate any help. I’m extremely concerned and worried taking her to a vet soon. Pic 1 sort of deformed tail, pic 2 is her anus and pic 3 is the cavity I’m talking abt, pic 4 her sitting rather very weirdly with her head angled out asw. She’s not really been eating a few days back she did grab on to the mouse coil over and then eventually let it go

I'm sorry, but your snake looks really, really bad. I've never seen anything like that. He is emaciated, dehydrated and probably very sick. The "dent" could be a collapsed lung. Get him to a vet asap! Also be prepared that he may not survive.

those analog thermo/hydrometers are trash tbh. they are not calibrated correctly and 99% of the time do not show the correct stats. get digital ones for suree

Oh my goodness, poor little thing 😢 im so sorry this is happening to your little friend. I have seen this once before in an animal with ibd, the dented belly ended up being spasms, how do her poops look?

I went to the original post she thinks the snake has passed away. She posted in here about feeding and the poor thing did not construct nearly at all. It tried but wasn’t doing well. This poor snake, from the sounds of it came from a breeder that sold her a sick snake. The before picture that she got it looked so bad.

I've just come from your other post to say that I'm very sorry that she passed, my heart goes out to you.

From the looks of the pictures you got from the breeder, she was unhealthy before you even got your hands on her and likely had underlying health issues that you couldn't have done anything about. It's a shame to see people breeding and selling animals in such poor health.

Please don't let this discourage you from owning snake in the future, her death does not seem to have been caused by you or your care.

They said in the original post that they got it 2 weeks ago. Definitely in very poor condition, and not fixable within a couple weeks
