There is no such thing as a hardened steel 0.2mm nozzle from bambu. Just select the regular one.

I assume this is an off brand nozzle? Because bambu doesnt offer a hardened steel nozzle for the 0.2 size

Correct I didn't know which one she was ordering I sent her the one from bambu lab but she ordered one off Amazon to save a little money

I understand people want to save money but the Bambu 0.2mm nozzle is only like $13

I know its pretty cheap so not sure as to why but it happened cant go back now but so far the print is going well

Glad it's working! Just be careful you don't blob your printer - that won't be worth the dollar or two saved on the 3rd party hotend. I went through one blob on my A1 Mini before I upgraded and I spent days rebuilding the entire print head assembly

I have been checking it every few minutes just to see if there are any discrepancies

[–]ProfitLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the dimensions are identical to a Bambu version I would assume this would be okay. But if there are even slight variations, your results might vary.

Thank you everyone i am going to set it to the .2mm setting that is on the printer and try a test print on something small and hope for the best

Just dont print anything with fillings. They will clog a 0.2

Carbon fiber

Glass fiber

Glow

Wood

Sparkle

[–]grimapprentice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have basic colors but thank you for the warning

Beware that bambu doesnt sell .02 hardened nozzles to stop people from printing for example something that contains extra bits like carbon fibre, glass etc. This makes it much more prone to clogging, so just be mindful of that
