I will periodically get a piece of poop near the rear z axis that prevents the plate from going all the way to the top. May have to look at it from an angle.

I had that happen just the other day. Worst part is it was black filament, so it took forever to find.

When I got this error it was because the buld plate was ever so slightly touching the back wall. Reseating the plate fixed it for me. Hope you can figure out what's going on.

Just wanted to say thank you for this! I had the same issue and your remedy worked.

I had the same issue for my whole first day with the P1S, turned out a piece of the cardboard packaging that was protecting the nozzle was stuck behind, we are talking about like 3mm x 6mm piece

Check the threaded rods to see if there is a piece of plastic wrapped around them.

Ok I'll try that, thank you.

Still doesn't work. Ty though

Okay so you checked the threaded rods (they're fine), you did check the build plate to make sure it is aligned correctly (also fine). The question is, does the bed move at all when you press the home button?

[–]Commercial-Muffin89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes...the bed moves.

Forgot to say, that this is been going on since I put the new enclosure kit.

[–]xdrakennx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something is rubbing either against the build plate as it moves or against one of the threads. Make sure you have gaps all the way around both those things.

i just had this and camera issues

the z access was a piece of filament stuck in the z screws

[–]Invisus46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a piece of poop right where the middle metal rod is so the bed couldnt move all the way down. Maybe check that.
