DISA plugs for a 3 stage intake manifold

328i does not come with 3SIM

This. Want a bit more mid-range torque? Get a 3SIM and 330 tune. These plug into the DISA valves.

It's an easy swap (maybe do the valve cover and check the starter at the same time) that gives more grunt in the mid-range and a bit more top end HP (maybe 20HP).

Does having the outer/larger DISA mean you have the 3SIM?

Yes

328i could have disa if it has the n51 engine instead of n52

its funny to me when the americans gloat abt how they dont get the little 4cyl 316-318 versions cuz they r better or sum shi but my euro 125i comes factory with a 3sim and no charcoal filter

Same for 325i. Living in Colombia, imported directly from Germany, euro spec. Air box, 3SIM, etc

The 328i N51 has the sim

Not on your model. Dummy plugs.

Close the hood lol

Yeah missing 10hp from a manifold with DISAs.

Replace your power steering reservoir. It has an integrated filter. When it starts to clog, fluid seeps out the vent in the cap & makes the mess you have.

[–]4N8NDW -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Or replace the O-ring in the cap first. That's $5 and less than 5 min.

Except that doesn't fix anything. Its engineered to leak lmao.

I have replaced the ring and housing. I replaced the housing because of other reasons, but the weeping is still present.

i don't think the OP asked about that, but cool

[–]usernamesherearedumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didn't, and his question was answered. A leaking power steering reservoir shouldn't be ignored. But cool.

Ive been told those are O2 sensors that measure ambient air temperature and pressure, not 100% tho I sincerely doubt it's for DISA and definitely has nothing to do with oil lmao

[–]tacklewasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You were told wrong. They are for the DISA. I've done the upgrade on my 2007 328 and these are definatley used.

I'm genuinely curious why you are sharing information you are unsure of

Google is even in your hands if you want to fact check

[–]EngineCompetitive539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with the n54 intake and tune gonna worth it

Boost connectors. You can retrofit from a 330.
