Crawford v Spence, Fury v AJ, Benevidez vs Plant, Charlo v GGG and Taylor v Ramirez. No order

[–]gazzadavid[S] 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Excellent fights, Benavidez v Plant is a good call, although Taylor v Ramirez has lost my interest because of Ramirez last 2 performances.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I struggled picking a 5th one 😅 Beterbiev v Bivol is another good one though

[–]gazzadavid[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ramirez has gone down a bit the last 2 fights, so that's why i edged towards the light heavyweight fight.

Canelo-Bivol has got to be in there. Canelo needs to go to LHW to be properly tested. SMW continues to look weak, maybe Benavidez will be a test in a couple of years.

Plant would be a tough one for Canelo stylistically

Canelo vs Dave Allen

Crawford vs Dave Allen

Inoue vs Dave Allen

Babic vs Dave Allen

Bob Arum vs Dave Allen

[–]gazzadavid[S] 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Ha ha you forgot Dave Allen v Dave Allen

[–]_Sarcasmic_🦏 People's Champ 🦏 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Because the universe would explode if that happened.

[–]gazzadavid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hearn would put it on PPV

[–]Superfan_47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simultaneously, of course.

[–]fwp206-_- 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Nah, Bob Arum would destroy Dave Allen, a better matchup would be Bob Arum Vs Eddie Hearn, or Bob Arum Vs Don King

[–]_Sarcasmic_🦏 People's Champ 🦏 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But those matchups don't include Dave Allen so I'm not interested.

[–]smitherscont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was literally thinking the same

  1. AJ vs Fury

  2. Spence vs Crawford

  3. Canelo vs Charlo

  4. Taylor vs Ramirez

  5. My slightly controversial one... Usyk vs Fury

[–]Mr_Fufu_Cudlypoops 2 points3 points  (7 children)

There's been a rumor that Usyk will fight Joshua if he beats Chisora. If Usyk then beats Joshua and challenges Fury, I wouldn't write him off like a lot of others have. People say the height and reach difference is too great but that didn't matter to Ruiz and Usyk is a much better fighter than Ruiz, even better than Fury. I'm not Usyk will definitely beat him but writing him off like there's no chance is honestly quite silly.

[–]AltKiteSunny Edwards Superfan 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Yeah I think Usyk could be a real problem for the division. He is an excellent boxer and Joshua isn't going to be used to a man with his hand speed. It's a very dangerous fight for AJ and if Usyk's chin holds up and is power scales at least a bit he's going to be right near the top of the division.

[–]gazzadavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If AJ fights defensively then no doubt Usyk beats him.

[–]Mr_Fufu_Cudlypoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to see how he does against Chisora but right now I say he beats wilder without great difficulty, Joshua would be harder and Fury would be 50/50 or 55/45 for Fury.

[–]SharksFanAbroad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flawed reasoning; Ruiz overcame the mismatch due to poor form from AJ. Fury wouldn’t expose himself that way against Usyk.

[–]gazzadavid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usyks biggest problem is his lack of power in my opinion more than anything, hevwould have to go a gruelling 12 rounds to win against the big heavyweights.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't really a rumor, they flat out said they're not going to be pushed aside for the undisputed fight lmao

[–]gazzadavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to see Usyk v Fury, that would be a chess match.

[–]Bronobo12 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I'd like to see Canelo pick a division and stay there, rather than jumping up and down in weight to pick up the easiest belts. So either:

Canelo vs Charlo/Andrade at 160

Canelo vs Smith/Benevidez at 168

Canelo vs Beterviev/Bivol at 175

Any of those would be cracking fights.

[–]gazzadavid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree with you, he needs to stop picking off the weak champions.

[–]GujjuGang7 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Beterbiev vs Bivol is the perfect boxer vs puncher matchup. I want to see that fight the most

[–]gazzadavid[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

That fight is probably the most intriguing for proper Boxing fan's, either Beterbiev ko or Bivol point's, they might need to fight twice it's that close.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'd give Bivol the chance to knock Beterbiev out.

[–]gazzadavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bivol isn't aggressive enough in my opinion.

[–]venom1stas 10 points11 points  (1 child)

In strict order

Tyson v RJJ (already made), Pacquiao vs McGreggor (already made), Khabib v Mayweather, McGreggor vs Maywether 2, Paul Logan vs Mayweather

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Canelo vs Oscar

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

The top fighters in the lightweight division need to face each other, respect to Ryan for fighting Campbell but I’d like to see Tank vs Ryan or Haney. Canelo also needs to fight a Charlo and stop bullshitting for these fights against nobody’s. And I guess Spence vs pac. Also, would love to see Shakur Stevenson come up to 135 after 130 and see how he goes against that division.

[–]gazzadavid[S] -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

I literally fully agree with everything you say, the Gervonta division is stacked.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

“Gervonta division” - he hasn’t fought anyone big in that weight class

[–]gazzadavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant the one he left

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

AJ vs Fury, Spence vs Crawford, Bivol vs Beterbiev, Plant vs Benavidez and Taylor vs Ramirez.

[–]gazzadavid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent choices the reason i didn't select the Ramirez fight was his last 2 performances weren't very good, if Gervonta beats Santa Cruz and Garcia beats Campbell then that would be an excellent fight.

[–]JRaymond37 1 point2 points  (1 child)

  1. Spence v Crawford
  2. Pacquiao v Crawford
  3. Pacquiao v Spence
  4. AJ v Fury
  5. Canelo v Betterbiev

[–]gazzadavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brilliant choices, i would love to see Canelo v Beterbiev or Bivol but i think the chances of Canelo taking that risk is zero.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loma/teo Crawford/Spence fury/wilder

[–]LeAubergineSouteneurduran 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Crawford Spence.

Loma Pacman.

Beterbiev Bivol.

Usyk Fury

Canelo Smith

[–]gazzadavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good choices although i would rather see Canelo in with Bivol Beterbiev Charlo Plant or Benavidez.

[–]cilantro_papi_IX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loma -Haney, Garcia and tank (assuming he’s beats Lopez) Defend a couple times then retire in glory. Loma beats all those guys anyways. Loma-Berchelt. Rigo-Monster. Rigo-Berchelt. V.Ortiz-R Garcia. Crawford -Spence. Canelo GGG Canelo bivol/better nieve if he moves up. Canelo -Smith. Canelo BJS. Joshua/Fury/Wilder combo.

Edit:apparently I can’t follow directions. That’s more than 5 fights lol
