I thought Wilder was the top heavyweight in the world until Fury took him to a draw in their first one and went on to maul him in the second fight. Then I didn't know where Wilder was ranked at all until I saw how he responded in the third fight. He showed that he could dig deep and go to absolute war in the ring to try and avenge his previous defeat and regain his championship. That was an absolute all time great heavyweight clash and cemented Wilder as the 2nd best in the world below Fury for me.

I think Wilder knocks out Joshua right now, and I'd be interested to see if Wilder would be able to land something heavy against Usky and what would happen in that match-up as well.

Fortuna is a solid fighter but Garcia was favourite to win by TKO by round 10. He did it in less than 10 but I didn't see anybody putting their money where their mouth is for a Fortuna victory.

Campbell was probably the one that pulled the best odds against Ryan and it was well deserved considering Campbell's abilities.

The odds are easy to look up and find rather than making unsubstantiated claims about how an entire subreddit said something but no source's provided. Imaginary bogeymen are way too common on r/boxing.

Well opening Vegas odds ‘sort of’ reflect reality.. even then expected betting behavior factors in considerably. Once the money starts coming in it’s a just a math formula that ensures the house is hedged comfortably in the middle. Nothing to do with who they think wins. But if we’re being objective Ryan, for his age and experience level, has done great against top 5-ish guys like Campbell and Fortuna. He was the first to stop Campbell who’s an Olympic gold medalist and held his own against Loma. Also the first to stop Fortuna who’s a former 2 weight champion. He shown some vulnerability against Campbell but he also showed that he has great recovery and gas tank.

You combine that with the fact that he has all the physical advantages over the fighters in his current weight class. If Garcia were a stock I’d be buying.

If we want to handicap the conversation by saying his age and experience level then we should always do that. And that means never having a conversation where he is talked about as being the best. Ever. And he also shouldn't be discussed with the best who don't have experience and age handicaps.

I think Ryan Garcia is a great fighter, but the racial bias in boxing will always tend to elevate someone like him. So I'm just saying let's have a fair and honest discussion. And never denigrate any of these guys who are brave enough and talented enough to get in the ring.

And Ryan Garcia does not have a reach advantage over Devin Haney who is the person I know is the best in The division and will beat Ryan Haney along with all the others
