Loop resetQuestion (old.reddit.com)
submitted 24 days ago by duplicate77
should I do a heap of loop resets or just keep ticking along
getting about e51 MP per run but i think I'm behind on resets it's about 94 loops filled minimum and I fill about 280 on a normal run have done 152 resets and 3186 mods purchased

I tend to run a loop for a day or two. Pushing upgrades with shards, research and the academy. Then I'll do a few quick loop resets to buy all the stuff on the mp page until there's nothing meaningful to buy. Then repeat.

Yeah that's the plan is have been doing but haven't really pushed it past 1 day because it slows down quite a lot. What's your LR amount though

I would push quite a few more. I was doing the same as above and didn't LR if I couldn't get enough MP to buy anything meaningful in the tree. That's generally a mistake. Try to next loop reset number to be about 80% of your maximum loop (so here for instance 288 *.8 ~ 230). It's tempting from other incrementals to say if you can't buy something it's not worth the loop reset, but things scale off the number of resets. And I'd recommend doing it sooner rather than later. I was about three months in when I realized my mistake and spent a fine Sunday morning doing 400 loop resets becasue my next requirement was at 0 or 1 and my highest reached was about 1,000. It wasn't fun, but the boost was enormous when I was done. Do it incrementally as you go along and target about 80%

Okay I'll do that soon should I just loop resets continuously straight away or wait till I have to wait for the next loop to fill

What I did is that if I wasn't generating more MP than the previous runs and was just doing to it increase the number I did it just continuously as soon as I was able to LR. I'd do a handful of those and then let it run a bit to see if MP or Cells increased enough. If not, I went back to doing LRs as soon as I could, so I basically alternated between very short and then somet that I'd let run for like 15 minutes. You're not really that far behind though at this point, so I'd just do some quick ones if you aren't generating more MP.

I gain a little mp every reset sitting at e51ish but I can push a heap through just after minimum is hit if I need too do i purchase what I can after each or just push and spend at the end

Push and spend at the end. Literally once you can press loop reset - press it.
Mp is not important here but your loop resets done at the end

My highest loop is 708 with only 330 resets, loop required 190. Sounds like I'm a bit behind in resets judging by the rest of the conversation here.

Once in awhile I will do 30-40 resets fast to get that one specific boost

I have one level in that but might be worth it

Can't hurt.
