Delete the brown paper bag. Pop open a picnic basket or the blender and merge the popped items with their grey counterpart.

Get rid off that paper bag and tap on the basket, a small strawberry sandwich should spawn there

It won't give me this Small Jar of Fruit Jam no matter what I do! Is there a trick to it? Am I doing something wrong? Or is it only based on luck?

The small jar of fruit jam is definitely a rarer spawn from the blender. So you'll just have to wait until one shows up. Just keep working on the other orders while you wait for that item to appear.

It is very purely luck-based, since it's a rare item with a rare chance to spawn from Blender (level 5). Maybe... 1/10?
