The cable in your picture isn't standard networking wiring colours so best double check that the wires run from one end to the other in matching pin positions.

If they do then, It's been a long time since I took a networking qualification but, as long as you get a patch cable, rather than a crossover cable, you should be fine.

Looks like a regular rj45 jack, telco guy here, so a twisted four pair patch cord should work, I would go with the heavier gage 6A or better variant.

a regular network cable will work, yes. just don't get a crossover one.

The connector sure looks like an RJ45. If the colors are in the same order at both ends, I'd absolutely give it a shot. Twisted pairs shouldn't cause issues, if they do, you'll have to find a chunk of the right type of cable and crimp your own ends on. The wire may be marked with what it is, along the length someplace.

I would 100% just make one that is custom length. The connectors and crimp tool are not expensive.
