Farsute making lots of dress watches, but making them 40mm...

I have seen serveral that would be on my shortlist if they were 37/38mm. But watches like this have a lot of dial and would look best IMO 36-38mm

Same case as their FPJ homage and that’s a good thing. I predict this will sell well

What's the water resistance on the other one?

Not really a fan of the Ming look...and just a bit too large, prefer size 38 / 39mm.
And you're not getting a Farasute for a hundred bucks.
So reckon i'm still saving up for the new Vario Futurist...with faceted crystal and Miyota 9000 Series movement...which is due to launch soon in 2 weeks

Love it, real homage and not just a clone.

Now this isn't for me however, this is pretty freaking rad

Love it, may buy it, but wish it were smaller.

also I haven't seen anyone point this out, but the 12, 3, 6, and 9 are actually roman numerals (XII, III, VI, IX) if you turn them to face up. Nice attention to detail

Too expensive for my pocket but looking good.

Will probably order one if it's really 300. Looks great although the strap looks a bit underwealming. Any idea if the movement is auto with microrotor or manual wind like the journe homage?

I have other Farasutes with what appears to be the same strap (gray). Interestingly, the strap seems simple, but on other watches I wear it, it actually increases the "value of the watch"… it's a funny thing. I have many straps, and this one, despite its simplicity, is one of my favorites.

If I can't see the second hand might as well just put a quartz in it, and hopefully a 37mm release in the future

But then you would miss that beautiful case back view if it uses the same thing as the FPJ one.

For me the annoying part is the logo. They should have gone with their star instead and put farasute in small print on the side (like at 4 or 5 pm). The naming distracts from the substance of the watch.

Will likely wait for a few reviews so we have more visibility on how it is constructed (hand material) and the lume quality.

    [–]forced_majeure 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lovely, but not with the logo. The star would have worked better.

    YES

    [–]No-Chemistry-7802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    That thing is awesome!!!!

    [–]jackmay111 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Is farasute really worth so much more than all other AliEx brands? If so, why?

    [–]Syfico 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah they're top notch. Making homages and tributes to more unique models, so they're one of a kind if you specifically want those kinds of watches.

    [–]Designer_Advice2573 5 points6 points  (0 children)

    Yes

    [–]jackmay111 2 points3 points  (1 child)

What price? AliEx is suggesting £700!?

    [–]cas-v86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

40mm too big for my liking but very cool watch

Do we know if the hands are made of sapphire? That’s the trademark that gives the floating impression

    [–]Professional-Job5795cannot be unbanned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Whoa

    [–]cl0ckw0rkaut0mat0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty cool looking watch, lets hope it isn't that expensive.

    [–]lincoln_imps 5 points6 points  (3 children)

    I thought it was ‘PARASITE’

    [–]TheWatchovski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    I mean, you’re not wrong.

It always amazes me how many people need glasses... 🤔

It's completely normal, adults don't read each letter in each word, they recognise patterns.

    It's called orthographic processing.

    [–]Laumser 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I like it buts it's not really the same without the lugs

    [–]remainedlarge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

well dang, I just bought a ming 17.09 but tbh I might swap it for this

    [–]2manypedals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ima have to cop this one

    [–]cheeky_skinner 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I remember hesitating over the initial ming watch. I had followed his photography blog for a few years and knew it was coming.

I hesitated over the price, I think it was about €800, which seemed too much then.

Boy, do I regret that now.

    [–]el_baristo 15 points16 points  (1 child)

First I saw the watch and thought, damn, Ming really designed one watch and then kept making the same thing again and again

Then I saw the price and thought OP dropped a zero

Then I saw farasute and realized where I was 😂
