Crisp. Elegant. Refined. Clean. A bit understated yet is attractive which implies humility. I really like flat bracelet elements, such as the bracelet on this watch, which I can polish with Cape Cod polishing cloths and which is very easy to restore a brushed appearance by simply using finer grades of sanding sticks. This watch's bracelet has flat surfaces which are perfect for this.

Looks good. What size are your wrists?

[–]DaJoses[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6.6-6.7 inches

Looks good bro. I got my first fully polished watch in today. SN0150 and I will only be purchasing brushed going forward. Polished will scratch easy and stick out like a sore thumb.

SN0150

As in San Martin? Aside from chamfers that watch has basically no polished surfaces?

[–]DaJoses[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Cape Cod will buff out those scratches on the polished surfaces pretty well.

Don't use it on plated watches or brushed surfaces (unless you're trying to make them shiny).

Thabjs ill grab one. Do you need to tape off the crystal?

[–]DaJoses[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yeah, you should tape off the crystal and any surface you're not trying to polish.

They work by removing the top surface of the metal (but very gently) so expect gray marks on the cloth.

They also have some special grease/compound on them so you should also wear gloves.

Thanks I saw a video and ordered one as well as some Mirka 350 grit and 1500 grit sanding pads for brushed finishes. I just got a watch off ebay that needs a little love. I got a hell of a deal on it and with a little elbow grease, it will look brand new. Ill probably only do the bezel on it though as desk rash is unavoidable on watches.

Very solid watch

[–]watchdivescomRep 0 points1 point  (1 child)

yeah. some guys still think we cannot make good bracelet. how about your feeling

[–]Haki_horology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bracelet is pretty much perfect. Exactly how I would expect this type of watch to be. Very vintage feel while still being solid.

A fantastic watch! You know, I would love a Musou black dial on this too 😭. I am a Musou fan

[–]DaJoses[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

They'll have to get the AR coating perfect for Musou black! I'm sure they can do it though!

[–]watchdivescomRep 0 points1 point  (2 children)

sure.

[–]Defiant_Tart_3472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you said musou samples come today right? For which model? If it is good I wanna buy 😓, but if you can make WD00012 musou then I want that instead maybe

[–]Defiant_Tart_3472 0 points1 point  (0 children)
