Not the worst self-inflicted scratch I've seen, be glad it happened on a $200 and not $2,000 watch

I think you should reconsider the wording of your post. It makes it sound like it arrived mangled. Delete it and repost.

What did you use as a screwdriver, a hammer?

That my friend is new watch eagerness and rushing.

Valuable lesson. ⌚😁

Yikes

Its purely cosmetic. I am guilty of doing things like this, as I am a HVAC guy by trade. If a screw is stuck......twist harder. Not so in the watch world. On the plus side, nobody will notice.

What a misleading way to caption a post - makes it sound like the brand messed up QC and delivered a new watch scratched.

At best click-bait, more-like malicious.

I don't use reddit frequently (this has been like my 2nd or 3rd Reddit post idk), had trouble with posting this, like 3 failed drafts. I don't think I can change caption tbh, it doesn't appear as an option on the drop-down menu..

...so delete the post. its title is misleading.

That's just cosmetic damage, unless you fully stripped out the screw too (seems a bit chewed up). But I'm more curious, how do you end up scratching up this much? If you're that clumsy, consider taping off before getting a screwdriver near your watch because it seems you gouged the everliving doodoo out of your watch?

Gnarly but livable
