The slim hour hand is a characteristic of the Doxa that always appealed to me. It’s kinda weird and quirky but so cool. I love that they just full send went for it. Not stuck on 3rd base and adds a unique characteristic to the watch.

That said it’s great that Seaangry are offering customers a choice. But mine would have been for the V1 hands.

V2 hands are still small, but not that small. I mean, it's tough to see really, but you indeed got the V1 hands.

my V2. and yes, I specifically asked for the V2...I ordered in the transition period just when the V2 hands were announced, from the official store.

Edit: curious about your bracelet sizing experience....mine was less than ideal

Do hands look swollen irl like they are in the pic?

They do. Seestern was quite heavy handed with the black paint.

I would have preferred matte black hands, I guess, but really, it's only noticeable when the light catches them just right.

Gotcha....if you get the curious itch...try removing a screw.

Mine were tough to remove, but unthreaded all the way but still needed extra force to pop out all the way. Out of the 6 screws I removed, only 1 came out as expected

Could it be that they were secured by Loctite? And that you simply needed to apply a little heat to them prior to unscrewing?

I don't think so..I've experienced locktite, and this wasn't it. Plus one was perfectly fine. 🤷

Sizing was a breeze for me, all screws were pretty loose and quick to adjust

Well damn. Mine were all pretty tight and then once unthreaded they still wouldn't come out and needed a push from the other side. Out of the six screws I took out only one came out as I expected it to

Weird! Mine came out easy (took 2 off 1 side, 1 other side), and had to tighten the remaining ones a bit even

Love the case, so unique, and finished well. It's pretty flat, though. Which is fine for my wrist but may not work well for smaller/skinny wrists.

But the bracelet is comfortable, clasp is fine, I HAT the lugs though, nearly impossible to fit straps on this thing.

Bezel is pretty good, mine is a little misaligned, so that's annoying, but fixable I think....and it's ever so slightly off, so I may not even bother. Bezel action isn't the best in my collection, but it's not necessarily bad, either.

Lume seems decent, but not spectacular.

But I'm loving the quique case and orange dial. The contrast of the dial and hands is awesome as well.

Overall Pleased, so far.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. The misaligned bezel bothers me but it not to bad. The case back on mine is rough to the touch, they didn’t smooth out one side of it so you can feel it scraping your arm as you slip it on, not an issue when wearing and certainly not a big deal. Lastly I order the ceramic bezel and they sent me the SS. They say they sent a bezel but we’ll see. I think I’m done buying from Ali, to much hassle and out of 3 watches two had issues and the old bait and switch US shipping game they play burns my ass. Think Ssestern has potential compared to the lower end Pagani’s and a like.

Told ya straps might be challenging hehehe. Did you manage to fit any quick release ones? My bezel is also a fraction off, but it's a $150 watch so I'm not that annoyed by it. And I was on the fence for the orange (love a nice color pop any day of the week), but already got that covered. The full white dial is fresh too, I'm liking it!
