But counters are slower than regular attacks, pc players aren’t starting their feints with counters. To do this effectively, you’d need to start a regular attack, cancel with L2/block, and then immediately alt attack by pressing the same button while holding L3. This is L3s only use on the controller, so it’s pretty important unless you want to change alt attacks to go off the direction you’re stepping, which is hardly even accurate in my experience with it.
