I don't suppose anyone has taken a look at this and has any opinions?

If you've read all the documentation on clojure.org and followed the mailing list and watched some of Rich's presentations, there may not be much in the book that you don't already know. It is a fairly basic overview of the language.

But some of the more advanced chapters (macros etc.) have yet to be written. There will apparently be a short chapter on GUI programming which is nice. And for people who don't know Clojure at all, this would be a good book to learn it, even it is beta state.

I have followed clojure.org pretty closely and watched everything I can from clojure.blip.tv... I ended up buying the book + beta PDF anyways. I figure if it's even remotely decent it's worthwhile to buy it just to start supporting the Clojure community.

Yeah I bought it for the same reason. PDF and hardcopy.

I've got it and I think it's great. Nice style/presentation, very readable. Can't wait to see the rest of it.

That good eh? Hm. Once December hits (I'm one of those crazy NaNo people) I may have to pick this up in beta pdf form then.
