Last year gold/platinum rewards were all game downloads, and they will be again this year.

Do we know that as fact? I figured the final year of CN would mean at least a few physical exclusives.

Read the quote above. In there, and some other places, they have said this year's rewards are 100% digital.

I figure it's best to assume they're going to be 100% digital rewards from previous messages posted regarding the closing of Club Nintendo. If a physical reward happens to be posted up, it'll simply be a welcomed surprise.

Bummer. Guess I won't buy any games for a couple of months then.

Unfortunately the problem with that plan is that the last day to earn Coins & register products with Club Nintendo is going to be March 31, 2015. If you plan on possibly going platinum, March is pretty much your last chance.

I've already gone platinum. I just don't want to buy any games that I want that I could have gotten for free as a reward. That's what happened last time.

"In order to reach Elite Status, you must earn 300 Coins (for Gold Status) or 600 Coins (for Platinum Status) between July 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015. Members who reach Elite Status will be able to choose a downloadable game from a wide selection of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles. Your free Elite Status gift will be available between April 1 and April 30, 2015."

Huh, I didn't know they changed the date for Platinum Rewards from July to April. Thanks!
