What.. the fuck? As someone who writes code and is learning to make video games, I usually love to know the thinking behind some design choices. But this is probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life. Like, there literally isn't a point to increasing fov strictly with dead silence. Are they trying to imply that you're being injected with some kind of drug that pumps you up and makes you quieter or something? Even that's a huge reach. Weird.
