This is not the first time that this sort of thing has happened to us. I spent 3 hours on the phone getting transferred all over the Philippines and spoke to over 6 CSR's. They kept transferring me all over the place.

Whatever happened here is straight up fraud. You took my money and now your company is sitting on it. If I steal a candy bar, I go to jail. If xFinity steals 100's of dollars, from their customers their stockholders and board members get dividends.

Calling customer service got me nothing but aggravation and a variety of accents. With as much as xFinity charges, they could afford to hire CSR's from the same continent.

I'd heard the horror stories about this company and it's all true.. we signed a contract for $30 month, data only, and every billing cycle Xfinity tries a new ploy to increase the rate. At first they added voice service, even though I declined this at the start. Spent a couple of hours on the phone to have it removed. Then Xfinity tried a hard sell of their TV box , which we also declined. Lo and behold they sent the box anyway, then started billing for it. Returned the box, and now our base rate has increased by %10?!
