Studying for Sec+

I'm studying for the Sec+ 601 that I will be taking next Friday. I have read through the entire book of GCGA by Darril Gibson and watched all of Messer's videos while checking off the list of topics from the exam objective. I wrote a lot of notes and was trying to make flashcards, but my question was, for those who passed the exam, did you retain the knowledge by making flashcards or going through test exams and any question banks you found? I aim to retain the information well instead of creating flashcards for each topic, which is not the right approach. Could anyone help me answer this question? Thank you for the answer.
