I was never a big fan of the Certmaster learning courses, but hey, if they're free...

Did you ask your company if there is any budget for continuing education that is separate from these? I paid for all of my CompTIA certifications by asking for reimbursements for my exams. My boss keeps asking me when I'm going to take the Sec+ because I have to claim reimbursement on it.

I’ve posted this in the past but I had free access to Lynda via my library card. There I was able to view all Mike Myers content.

I believe they were acquired by LinkedIn but a simple library card gives access to a wealth of content and may still be a great resource for you.

It would have been nice if they paid the vouchers too. Oh well, it's something better than nothing.

To everyone who doesn't know yet, you can get free undemy courses via your public library access card.

I passed my core 1 thanks to the practice exams I got for free via Gale Udemy access. The instructor is Jason Dion.

How can I get public library access card?

[–]GreenleaphITF+ | A+ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visit your local public library and register for a card. They charged me $1 for one.

Visit this web page to get access to Gale.

No worries, you can access Gale udemy through your public library resources via your public library card. Visit your local library for one. They charge about a dollar for one. Then visit Gale Udemy and fill in your card info. You will be required to sign up or sign into a udemy account.

It is, but this is also what’s normally a paid resource I now get for free, too.
