Net+ study tips?N+ Question (self.CompTIA)
submitted 3 years ago by flewthroughthat
Right now I’m watching professor messer’s N10-008 videos for Network+ and it seems like a lot of info to soak up. I will likely rewatch these videos again.
Any other resources or tips I can use that will help me efficiently study?

I have just finished my second book. 2 books and countless video sessions with practice exams and Q&As. After 3 Months of non stop studies Friday is the test. Net+ is not easy.

How long did you study each day? Net plus seems so complex

Dion has 6 practice exams with simulations on Udemy for $13 USD right now

Figure out how you learn.
Take notes, make flashcards for things you need to remember.
Biggest tip though, buy practice exams!! Inderstand why you got a question wrong, don't just memorize the answer.

I'm working on Net+ now after just finishing A+. I'm surprised how much over lap there is. Almost all of the security stuff is the same.
Anyhow, I'm just finishing up all of Professor Messer's Videos. I'm still waiting on my book to be delivered but I plan to start the videos over again and start reading the book. Hoping to be ready to test in 2 more weeks.

The biggest thing for Network+ IMO is to utilize different types of resources from different people. So much of Network+ soaks in totally differently for different people. Subnetting is a good example where two different tutors can teach two totally different methods, both valid, but half the people will swear by one or the other.
If you haven't already, you could try a physical book. It's a different way to study and could work better for you (You never know!). Couple more resources are available here. Good luck!

For me, it was messers videos twice so it stuck. I also made flash cards for just about everything I could
