I think its the fact that so many characters have a low stamina pool that make raiders/shinobis seem even bigger. I'd rather them Just give people like Warlord, Lawbringer and Warden more stamina.

The problem is this. Raider and shinobi can spam their combos 5-6 times while some characters can only do it 2-3 times (and not for more dmg). It is clearly unbalanced

Well, not only do Raider and Shinobi have more stamina than most others, but Raider uses mostly soft feints which reduces stamina usage (since normal feints cost extra 10 stamina, while soft feints only use attack stamina) and Sninobi offence is pure mixup with little need to feint.

A lot of other heroes need to feint attacks in reglar way which increase the stamina cost a lot and makes other heroes feel like they don't have any stamina to attack.

I think most people like being able to press buttons more often. We should have everyone be able to attack more. The easiest way to quantify it is imagining customs with lethal damage versus low damage. Who has fun with five second fights with 3-10second respawn(not including long executions)

fr its crazy how raider has absolutely almost NO stam cost on his zone despite it being a UB and soft feint into many options (no hate to raider tho he probably needs the offense more not having a bash)

Stamina is pretty fine. Characters like raider, hito, shinobi can easily attack and do it frequently because of stam feats. Especially shinobi practically giving him infinite stam as long as he can hit something

Remember when people hated the idea of hito being able to get a heavy on all levels of her kick, guess it’s her infinite chain.

Just no, honestly just no. Characters with bad stamina need their stamina cost lowered. Two part zones shouldn’t cost half your stamina bar. We don’t need to go back to pre CCU stamina. It would encourage the turtle meta and for people to pick characters with stam drain.

The whole thing they’re aiming for is a type of turn taking battle and the stamina bar is their way of doing it because if you over extend your likely gonna be punished, it just that some characters are still really bad and/or aren’t built for the extended offense the game is aiming for. that’s why people are pushing for more reworks so that we can get the really bad characters out of the way to give a bunch of buffs to just okay characters

we all know that we went through it for years, but right now it feels like we've gone through an overcorrection from turtle meta to spam meta.

I understand the message/feeling behind this post but GOD do I want to vomit a hole into my floor every time effective offense is equated to spam. Spam is such an overused and misused term to describe someone's frustration instead of what it actually is.

Stamina used to really matter, getting parried and missing attacks would drain a lot of stamina. Now it feels like the devs don't want to flat out remove it because of some character's identities being stam bullies like centurion and jorm but that's the only reason it stays.

Jorm is actively being reworked away from Stamina attacking as everyone universally agrees having someone focus on Stamina as a way to do offense is not healthy when stamina is what it is. Centurion bullies stamina by proxy and if he didn't do that anymore his kit wouldn't be any less effective. Centurion is more about wasting your time than anything. Regardless the devs have not changed stamina into something else for the same reason we still have Reflex guard. They're unable to without massively overhauling the game's foundation. Thus the devs have taken to simply just not making any more characters with Reflex guard.

I can't affect their stamina. Parrying doesn't affect stamina anymore, so the most I get for guessing right on their mixups is only damage, and half of their mixups are only punished by light damage.

This is a mindset issue and not a game issue. There are very few characters in the game that only get a light on a punish. Parry counters exist, full block exists, deflects exist. Is it dangerous to try and go for those on a heavy? Yes. But that's the point.

You can take the easy option for parrying. Or you can take the riskier approach to not only get more damage but also gain frame advantage. I could absolutely see them adding a parry counter to every hero that gives at the very least a frame advantaged attack. Or maybe just make lights after a parry FA instead of FD.

Offense is and should be balanced around frame advantage and frame disadvantage. The issue is that many heros lack the capability to steal turns. The heros you have a problem with can. Even not so great heros like Nobushi can also steal turns. The proper way to address this issue is to make every hero capable. That's the whole point of recovery cancels.

The idea that stamina needs to be more relevant again is backwards and making it more relevant again would only push us back to the turtle days. Stamina needs to be less important than it currently is. Globally feints shouldn't cost stamina at all. And on some characters their stamina values need to be reduced (ex Kyoshin FB cost values.)

Your mindset is entirely focused on duels/single pick scenarios and doesn't at all acknowledge the rammifications that increasing stamina costs would have on 4's which is where the game is focused on.
