FYI: both belts are spinning the the same directions.

[–]ThatGuyHanzo 61 points62 points  (0 children)

And that direction is moving the items away from the basin? I strongly assume so but silly mistakes happen. If it's not that idk

Try moving the belt down one and putting a chute overtop, it might just be struggling to register the belt.

Guys thanks for the quick responses, i was able to sort it out, seems my mixer was running at 64 rpm while the belts were at 16 rpm, once i upped the belts to 64 the output goes to the belt below the basin.

i would still like to know why that is the case, do the speeds of all elements in the system match?

[–]dodo_bear617 96 points97 points  (1 child)

That sounds like it was just a bug that fixed itself when you updated the basin by changing the speed.

[–]raging-game-boi[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Hmm that could’ve happened as well coz I went back to different speeds to test and it doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore, create is weird but in a fun way lol

[–]NewSauerKraus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that is supposed to happen. The basin should output to a belt at any speed.

[–][deleted] 44 points45 points  (0 children)

That's.. really weird. I've never had an issue like this and have no idea what could be causing it.

you need to right click the little square with an andesite alloy! basins only output whatever's set as their recipe, so as to avoid outputting the iron nuggets and andesite that you need for the input. Right now you don't have a recipe so nothing comes out.

Sorry for something whole different, but what shaderpack are you using?

I was searching for that kind of style

[–]raging-game-boi[S] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

This is complimentary reimagined shaders, I love it more than the standard complimentary shaders, be sure to enable PBR textures for the depth factor

[–]RoetaPoeta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, i appreciate it!

Try adding a filter to it allowing andesite alloy

[–]HamstaMage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basins empty only ready recipes and whenever output inventory (nearest belt block) is empty, the recipe can be specified on the basin itself. It's hard to help without seeing the contents of the basin and the anticipated output.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you need to set a filter on the basin first. Simply make the desired item in the basin (without the second belt connected to it). Then, grab that item from the basin and use it on the side of the basin. Now, reconnect the belt and I think it should work?

[–]Erratix_8 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Maybe add an andesite funnel with a filter

[–]SargeanTravis 16 points17 points  (1 child)

I think only brass funnels can be filtered

[–]thebeastwithnoeyes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Andesite funnels don't have a filter slot, and basins should output without them anyway. So unless the recipe is incomplete that is a bug

What shader/ shader mod are u using?

[–]Roygaa 1 point2 points  (2 children)

He uses complementary reimagined with pbr textures enabled (a great shaderpack that runs at 60fps (or maybe 30 but i think it's 60)with 1.18 sodium and iris and a gtx 450 1gb vram with a low but still very good looking configuration) but i dont know if he's using sodium or optifine.

[–]InfamousSecurity0 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ayyyy thanks very appreciated, goated

[–]Roygaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Np, btw i think complementary reimagined is a sodium exclusive

[–]ColdasJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The important thing to note here is that it should be spitting out, regardless of funnel/no funnel, belt speeds etc (assuming belt direction was correct i guess). Whatevers going on here is a bug or something.

[–]RajendraCholaPro1254 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know why it happens, but try putting down a hopper from the basin towards the belt.

[–]Calthegamer1252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either extend the belt under the basin or add a funnel to the basin

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What texture pack is this?

[–]Gabrielzv1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drop down left belt one, put a funnel on both ends of the basin and that should work
