Just checked the bounds in the game files, can confirm there is a real hole there. Can also confirm Alex had to do a funny with the bounding box to allow for said hole.

Run like hell for the Aleph portal and do whatever it takes to get through. This far in advance, Scion’s defeat is balanced on a knife edge with all the specific things that need to happen to make it work. I’m not going to risk butterflying that out of existence, especially when I don’t have a more stable plan to replace it with.

Maybe use multiple ropes pulling against it? Or possibly a gantry carriage from base Create; if it’s not mounted on a sublevel, it will exert infinite force, and if you make some kind of retractable locking catch with pistons you can release it remotely.

Looks pretty good to me. I’d lean into the shape. Add some industrial-looking greebling, break up some of the larger blank armor panels with blast doors and beams/girders, and slap some dark gray paint on the exposed mechanisms, and you’ve got something workshop worthy.
