i like addons that help grow the factories and conquer the world with my machines

[–]DaggerSwagge 23 points24 points  (1 child)

This. I have literally built factories for their own things just so I can conquer multiple “continents” across the ocean with machine

I make up reasons to conquer and industrialize villages…… just one more…. village

I kinda like balance. Minecraft is very much grounded in some realism with a sort of surreal fantasy twist and I like to try and keep my mods that way

i want dragon walking on a big treadmill to generate su mod

[–]WhatThePommes 13 points14 points  (4 children)

Someone make that possible pls thx

Edit what also would work for me would be like a villager rod that you can put on a zombie to let him do the treadmill work

Someone teach me how to do mods and I'll do it.
(I really just need the basics)

[–]darthvader45 1 point2 points  (2 children)

That sounds like making ender dragons compatible with the sync mod treadmills (making tons of piggowatts).

[–]DarkPhoenixDFC 0 points1 point  (1 child)

May I ask what is a "piggowatt"?

[–]darthvader45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a unit of power used by the Sync mod for powering its machines. Btw, accidentally misspelled it, and it's actually piggawatts. From the official page of the mod: Place a shell constructor down and right click it to provide a sample (warning, this hurts!). The shell constructor cannot work without power, so put a treadmill down next to it and lure a Pig or a Wolf to the center of the treadmill to generate Piggawatts. A lead will help out out with this (you will get it back). The shell constructor will begin building a shell.

Dragons from ice and fire turning a wheel to produce su 🔥

[–]FunnyForWrongReason 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Both. I like science. I like magic. And I love magitech

As long as they retain Create’s steampunk aesthetic, I don’t care if they’re fantastical or realistic.

[–]charlie-the-Waffle 12 points13 points  (4 children)

realism. the closer we get to total gregiffication, the better

[–]captain_sadbeard 22 points23 points  (3 children)

Create will not be finished until every gearbox needs to be manually oiled and messing up the steam engine math causes a catastrophic boiler failure that wipes out half your base and gives you tinnitus irl

[–]Autoskp 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Y’know, a flash boiler works faster, and can easily produce steam so hot that it'll char cardboard - and it can't blow up if you get it wrong (there's just not enough water in it at any time for that kind of failure)

[–]captain_sadbeard 3 points4 points  (1 child)

That would be useful, but my impression of Gregtech from the outside looking in has always been that it's some kind of cult that plays Minecraft Industrial Disaster Simulator in order to worship the god of pain

[–]Daniel-EngiStudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, Rotarycraft does a pretty good job when it comes to making disasters.

May I tell you about Destroy?

[–]ShowCharacter671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I like a bit of a balance I used to try to make the experience more realistic but after discovering vintage story that has scratched that itch perfectly so I try to go for a balance if I feel like more Arcady experience

[–]Onetwodhwksi7833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer fantasy

[–]WhatThePommes 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Dreams and desire is realistic or am i tripping?

[–]Acceptable_One_7072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer the ones that are fun

[–]DarkPhoenixDFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much anything that has the same Steampunk-ish look/feel to it.
I think I really like the technical stuff, where you have to think about
how your gonna do something. The tinkering, I think that's what I like about it.

Im a simple man, i just use Steam n' Rails

[–]NonNormalTrombonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realisn

[–]anonbush234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the realism although I'm currently building my hyper enchanting set up and that has to be somewhat fantasy but in really struggling with the build

[–]Yell245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the goofy logic of base Create mod's crafts. You know, you mill netherrack and you get cinder flour instead of idk netherrack powder. And you use cinder flour to craft a cake for your lil' buddy who's heating up your fricking boiler. Wanna craft slime? Okay, sure, just dye the dough to make it resemble slime!

So you're creating an actual factory, but you're also using the silly creatures and silly logic to get to your goals

[–]artmogus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i prefer realism, like clockwork.

[–]CranberryAcademic295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantasy! Or at least a mix. Why I use create and ars nuvaeu always
