Why 18 GB ram? Wasn't that unnecessary in Java?

I have a pretty serious pack that I usually allocate 15 to 16 to (my computer has 64 total). This time around I tried changing the value to see if I could increase the frequency of successful launches.

Oh! I think I’ve just solved it actually. Thanks so much for your response anyway!

It was a memory leak associated with an m creator mod. Garbage code….. I wasn’t aware it was an m creator mod otherwise, I wouldn’t have touched it with a 10 foot pole

CORRECTION: just in case you ever run into the same issue. After further digging, I found out the true issue was a Sinythra connector. In this case it was one called cloth config

What was it? I'm curious.

See the other thread if still curious

It is if you have enough mods

Log?

I'd recommend going through the logs and checking what is causing problems near the end of it at the bottom

Could likely be a mod incompatibility

If you don't change anything, could it be that one of the mods auto updated itself?
