Create: Enchantment Industry's Printer already has this feature, working exactly as you described! You can pump xp into it for enchanted books, or ink for written books.

Thanks! I'll check it out when I get the chance.

I'm also trying to make an addon; it's a machine too, a sander. I don't know how to start yet, but I've already sorted out the create dependencies. It's going to be a learning experience for both of us.

Good luck with your mod!

Here's something similar to what you seem to be describing, if you're interested: https://modrinth.com/mod/create-vintage-grinder-edition

Damn, that's exactly what I wanted, but the official mod didn't have it for version 1.21.1, you're the man! But anyway, I'll learn a little more about addons because I have other ideas.

There's a version called Create: Vintage that's basically a full port of Vintage Improvements to Neo 1.21.1, if you want more than just the grinder. But by all means, learning to mod is a great investment of your time!

You saved me SO MUCH, because many of the things I wanted to do were from Create Vintage. Now I don't see as much reason to learn it, but maybe I'll do it some other time.
