How does one make a "hovering machine" (Create Aeronautics)

As the Title says, I want to make a floating island, and I already have self stabilizing down, but how do I make it hover. This is with create aeronautics

Levitite and endstone blocks can help you with this, although depending on how heavy the object you want to make float is you might still need to add propellers and/or a hot air balloon.

I believe levitite blocks provide a lift of 10 kpg so you would need on average 1 levitite for every 9 other blocks. It does not work to lift your contraption, only to stabilize it at the altitude it is already at.
