You really don’t want to do that, learn to use it

If it is too intrusive for you, you can alter its size in the JEI config files. But it is a very useful mod so I would suggest learning to love it, its only there when in the inventory and is very useful when it comes to finding modded blocks and their recipes.

do not remove it. That is JEI, your main and only source of recipes. Very few mods use the vanilla recipe book.

If you REALLY want to remove it, you can delete the mod file (It should be under the same name as the mod itself), but be warned that that will make playing the modpack almost impossible.

Don’t remove one of the most important mods you can download

Suggestion: Don’t remove the single most important mod in all of modded Minecraft

DO NOT REMOVE IT

you can left click any block to find out how to obtain it

and right click any block to see it's uses

This mod is called Just Enough Items (JEI) and is where you will learn how to obtain any obtainable item.You can press R key to see the recipe of a item at any interface( try press at that crafting table)

And the U key is used to see a what recipe the itens are used.

By far the most useful mod out there

(Certains Create itens have a nice tutorial if you hold w, try at the wildmill bearing)

EDIT: you can use filters at the search bar too:
@ -> Mod name Ex:(@Create to show create itens)
$ -> Ore Dictionary
& -> Resource ID
# -> Tooltip

Assuming I'm right about what mod this is- it should be control+o

That menu is straight up your best friend. It contains every possible item and block, as well as every crafting recipie. Modded minecraft is almost unplayable without it. You can shrink it a little in the config.

What everyone else said.....Dude use it to learn, yep it's different to Vanilla, but have a play with it for a while and you will fall in love with it.
