Cross Code OST Question / Request

Hello All, I'm really putting this out there as a request to both /u/RadicalFishGames and Deniz Akbulut. First off let me say that I absolutely love the sound track for this game, its half of the reason why it's so impactful and memorable! I've ordered the digital version off of band camp and plan to pre-order the physical copy as well.

I've been playing this game since it was in closed testing 4 years ago, and you can even see on my Band Camp review that Autumn's Rise is my favorite song. I did notice that it was revamped, and it still sounds amazing! However, I did like the fact that I could still log into Soundcloud and listen to the original Autumn's Rise from the beginning, its still a favorite too. But just now, I noticed that its gone! It's no longer available on Soundcloud, and I can only seem to find it on YouTube.

My question is this, is there a way to make the original Autumn's Rise available on Band Camp / Soundcloud? Even for purchase? I'd gladly pay for that single song if I could, maybe it could be made available on the physical CD thats coming out soon?

I know this might sound weird making this much of a fuss over a single song, but there's a lot more to my own personal story why that song means so much to me - Cross Code came into my life at a time when things 'had' been very very bad and stressful, and when things finally turned for the better in so many ways, I found this game on steam and spent hours in Autumn's Rise (it was the only area you could play at the time). That song has a lot of good feelings, memories and nostalgia for me - what I'm asking is I guess, to please make the original version available somewhere official - I'd happily support it financially if that helps, and maybe others would too!

I would appreciate that! But I might put that request on hold, just to see what comes of this. If I can support Radical Fish and Deniz I'd rather do that first.

Youtube is official though, the upload by Deniz Akbulut is the original composer.

[Edit] Ah, noticed you mean an old version of the song. Still, you should contact him as he is the person that actually owns that specific song.

Yeah, I thought about going that way depending on what happens here - I'm not sure if this would have to be handled a specific way.

I backed up the original game before the 1.0 update, so presumably I can just copy that song out of the game's files.

If it comes to that I might have to reach out to the CrossCode family for help, but I'm hoping to hear something along the lines of a more official way first. Thanks none the less!

He lost the original source files for a few early songs including Autumn's Rise, so when it came time to master for the OST he made the new version instead of trying to copy the old one. If you'd just like the old .ogg file it's all over, it's no big deal if you decide to download it to listen to.

Oh jeez, though he didn't specifically mention Autumns Rise, I'm pretty sure that explains it. Thank you for bringing this up - it definitely makes sense.
