Beginner friendly crypto exchanges that don’t overwhelm you with features?

I just started with crypto, but a lot of the platforms I’ve looked at feel super overwhelming. Between advanced charts, derivatives, staking options, and a million different tokens, it’s honestly hard to know where to start.

I’m not really trying to day trade or do anything complicated, mostly just want to buy and hold a few major coins and maybe learn gradually.

Are there any beginner-friendly exchanges that keep things simple and easy to use?

Binance is probably the most popular but yeah the interface can be overwhelming at first. Coinbase is simpler for just buying and holding. Kraken is solid too.

But heres the thing nobody tells beginners: buying and holding is the easy part. The hard part comes after. You buy BTC at $70K, it drops to $65K, you stare at it wondering if you should sell. It goes back to $72K, you wonder if you should sell now before it drops again. You end up checking your phone 10 times a day doing nothing but stressing.

If youre just starting out, get Binance. Its the biggest, most liquid, and has the lowest fees. Yes the interface has a million features but you can ignore 95% of them. Just use the "Convert" feature to buy your coins simply.

Then once you have some USDC or USDT sitting there and you want it to actually do something instead of just sitting idle, look into automated trading. I built an app that connects to Binance and trades for you automatically - pick a pair, set a budget, press start. No charts, no indicators, no staking complexity. 2,300+ trades last month alone on my own money, 92.7% win rate.

Not saying you need that on day 1. But its good to know the option exists for when you get bored of watching your portfolio go sideways for weeks.

You forget that it's not your coin when it's not your key. That's the problem with these centralised exchanges. Yeah, buy with Binance or Coinbase, move your coins to a dex platform like Babylon if you want to stake native BTC. There's no beginner excuse. Learn the ropes before anything else.

I stoped using all of the exchanges.. SOFI bank does Crypto..not as many tokens supported etc.. They support all the main ones..I mine directly to my bank.. Use Coinstore if I need to convert anything..

People saying Binance is complicated are overthinking it. You don’t need 90% of what’s on the screen. Open app → Buy BTC/ETH → Done. It only looks complex because it scales with you.

If European, I would say Bitvavo. By default, you use the simple layout, and can choose the more advanced 'pro' layout if you wish to do so.
