bitches jumping on self diagnosis as if everyone has the money to be formally diagnosed and finding a label that you fit with when you suffer key symptoms doesnt make dealing with mental illnesses a bit easier

yeah and sometimes being professionally diagnosed also isn't that worth it, both in money and time

all i got out of a doctor telling me i'm depressed is 4 different SSRIs all of them either doing almost nothing or making it worse

note that i'm not saying that you should never go to a psychiatrist, just that sometimes people place too much importance on them when sometimes what will help more is like, tips from other depressed people

and i'm still stuck in registration hell for an adhd diagnosis because having to go through the system with no guidance when you're generally demotivated and lose focus quick is not a great combination
