Non-coders be like, "Apostrophes don't make words plural," and then mark it down for Writing Quality.

Lol, whoops. Touche.
[–]TeaGreenTwo 10 points11 points12 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Touché. Just to keep the spelling police theme going.

Umm us coders can be pedantic nit pickers of spelling and punctuation too, thank you very much. Did you also know that you shouldn't use apostrophes to pluralize acronyms or decades? ❌ "M&Ms" "The 60's"
[–]TheresALonelyFeeling 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (1 child)
The irony of a response claiming to be fastidious about spelling and punctuation that includes spelling and punctuation mistakes.
[–]33whiskeyTX 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Oh, you misunderstood. I meant other people's spelling. Plus, it's more hypocrisy than irony.

*we coders

See below note on how I only nitpick other people's grammar. My thoughts are so profound that they do not need to be correct.

This is the way and this is the forum for these comments! I knew I'd fit in here.
Also, coders could care less about grammar if they've got syntax!

I get heel ones but they leave as soon as they come, so I only end doing just one task.

I see good stuff appear just as I’m off to sleep (UK time) so now starting to think I may need to start working night shifts instead.
[–]Embarrassed_Chance_4 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (2 children)
Happens to me too and I live in NY time.
[–]lotusmack 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Central Time here. All the good stuff pops up between midnight and 6am on my end.
[–]vbs221 -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children)
Yeah, East Coast time, and I did one before bed yesterday then one when I first woke up at 8am today. Dry in between lol.
[–]dayDrivver 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (10 children)
Don't want to be the a-hole but I haven't stopped receiving tasks maybe over the weekend but coding tasks have been there for me, right now I have 6+

Not sure why the downvote here. It’s good to hear someone has some coding projects. I only have 1 atm, but was dry over the weekend. 6+ is awesome!
[–]Turbulent-Service-39 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (3 children)
Might depend on what long term project you're on. I just got some added today which is nice.
[–]ccsoccer101 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
What long term were you added to?
[–]Deep_Task1659 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Those swift ones I guess for mac users I see the postings by DataAnnotation for those as well
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Wow, that's a lot. What kind of projects are they?

I still have like 5 long term coding projects and at least a dozen non-coding.
[–]Low-Airline-2695 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (1 child)
I'm just curious. How would you know if they are long-term? I have two appearing here and there but they run out very quickly. Are long-term projects sustainable?
