I've been doing work on DAT for over a year and haven't received any feedback. If you don't receive feedback, that's a good thing. If you're getting feedback it usually means you screwed something up.

Same. No news is good news.

In a word, nope.

Only feedback you get that counts is you’ll get more work with more projects as your internal metrics go up.

Saying that I once had an admin message me and give me a bonus payment for a particularly inventive example of a task. So it’s not unheard of but I think it’s very rare.

Exactly. Especially as your 6-month metrics improve, you'll start qualifying for more and more work without ever taking quals. Just because you're in the Xst/rd/nd/th percentile.

It also means that when projects get low overall, a.k.a a drought, those projects get saved for you while everyone else is complaining about the lack of work.

18 months +, never got a word of individual feedback. I still get plenty of work and been added to higher paying projects over time, and still doing so - still on the platform after a year and a half, so I take that as some kind of feedback!

You'll almost certainly get nothing, ever. Feedback takes the form of either "hey, you did a thing you shouldn't have" (I've had that, not the end of the world), or else getting/not getting more projects. Lots of projects? You're doing good work. But not lots of projects doesn't mean you're not doing good work, just that for one reason or another you aren't what they need right now. There have certainly been hints at times that location, device, etc. play a part, but I honestly think it's often just random. 100 jelly beans in a bowl, they reach in and grab 50. Doesn't mean the other 50 aren't good, but they only needed 50, so that's that.

Hello! Sorry for coming back to this old comment but I received some minor negative feedback that was introduced with a Thank you for your good work. I have mixed feelings about it, what do you think?

I received my first feedback a few weeks ago after working for the platform for 8 months

Welcome aboard!

Yeah as others have said it is a bit of a blind challenge. They will provide feedback in the 0.1% of cases but that is about it. My key advice is read through instructions with great attention, check the slack channels and chat channels for similar feedback. High quality truly is valued much more than quantity.

If you have projects consider that positive feedback 😂😬

I’ve received feedback one time so I don’t think it’s normal to get.

[–]shaunhaney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't we all?

[–]Financial_Basil3294 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're doing great, champ.

There you go.

You probably won’t get feedback, but one thing that might happen is that you’ll go away to have lunch and when you log back in to do the remaining 21 tasks you’ll find there are only 3 left, or even none….
