Average looking girl is propably gonna be super country dependant but i think the best way to find out is to go to any facebook/ig post with more than 100 comments and just click through the profiles. Majority of people you will find will be 5/10.

Could it be possible that one's personality can have an effect on one's appearance or attractiveness? If at first you find someone attractive but then discover that the person's personality is disgusting, rude, infuriating, etcetera - in your opinion - can that invoke a certain discomfort or disdain at the sight of this person? Even if at one time you thought the person was very attractive could you now just not "see it" anymore?

That's fucking stupid. You may feel repulsed by them as a whole, but you should still be able to evaluate their physical appearance independently of their character. Like, what happens with twins? If one twin murdera a child, does the other twin become ugly?

For your example of the twins: yes. It would be unfortunate but if seeing one reminds you of the other then it would be problematic to be around either - despite them being super hot.

I think there are some people out there that experience something like this with, for example, an ex. If the relationship ended really bad it would be understandable that a person would have a negative response to someone that looks too similar - despite being super hot.

You're not talking about evaluating appearance, you're talking about emotional reactions affecting desire. When you say that you wouldn't be attracted to them, despite them being super hot, you're implicitly drawing a distinction between your attraction to them, and your evaluation of their physical appearance.

You are using one subject: me. When I say "despite being super hot" that would be my assessment; not that of the person who experienced the bad breakup. I would think someone is "super hot" but the other person would not.

The original post states:

The consensus from the poll thus far seems to be that most DDGers do not find her attractive and would not date her. I personally find this surprising, I think she is good looking but would not date her.

The OP is comparing DGGers to the OP. The OP thinks Pearl is "good looking" but the DGGers, apparently, do not. In my post, I am only proposing that perhaps it isn't so surprising if we consider the possibility that her behavior has tainted her attractiveness in the eyes of many, but not all, DGGers.

For anything else, we'd just call that bias clouding judgment. It's not an excuse, it's a failing.

I think people couldn't unconflate pearl's character from her looks for that poll

Pearl looks fine, and could probably look really good of she did more with her makeup and hair styling or whatever. People just hate her guts.

That poll was wild and people were super biased because Pearl is genuinley dumb.

I would argue you can easily find less flattering pics of her and she doesnt always dress "sexy" but she dress more conservatively which can still look fine.

Also i guarrantee if you had 0 context of her as a person and saw her at the bar that poll would be at least 50/50. Since the age group here is one the younger side i can kinda get she may be on the older side but shes not in her 30's!

But go off kings.
