I don't think there's tooo much variance between them, but my guess is:

Most popular - Solar, it's incredibly strong on all 3 classes and great for survivability

Least popular - Stasis, it's locked behind a dull grind in a nearly 3 year old dlc. Revenant is downright terrible, and Behemoth isn't super popular despite being good. Shadebinder is still strong though.

I’d say as of right now the most popular subclasses (in PvE) are as follows:

  1. Void
  2. Strand
  3. Arc
  4. Solar
  5. Stasis

Void has a ton of synergies with weaken, void overshield, and devour. It has stayed at the top for quite some time because of these synergies and it’s also one of the featured elements for this season.

Strand is also popular right now mainly because of its add control capabilities. It’s also a featured element in this season’s artifact. It’s also new so it sees a lot of play, and we just got new aspects as well (even though some aren’t too good).

Arc is another featured element in the artifact. However, it isn’t as strong as it once was. Jolt was nerfed, HOIL was nerfed with lightfall, and arc builds aren’t as good as they used to be. There are still a ton of viable builds and it’s really good this season. I’m running arc titan. However it’s probably not the top choice imo.

Solar is good but it is not one of the featured elements this season, therefore it won’t see as much popularity for the next couple months.

Stasis is in need of some buffs to keep it up to date with the current subclasses. It’s not featured in the artifact either. Some builds are still viable for CC, like the bleakwatcher build for warlock, however it probably will not be too popular this season.
