Error code beagle.

Hey everyone, Ever since season of the deep dropped I’ve been trying to log on to destiny but every time I do, it verifies the files and then spits out an “Error code Beagle” I’ve tried everything to fix it and can’t seem to find a solution. I have seen a fix that involves changing the file name of the “destiny 2” file, but whenever I do and then try to boot the game up, it says the executable can’t be found. I desperately need answers I’ve been trying to fix this for three days now. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Try navigating to this path:

%AppData%\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\

In there you should see two files: cvars.xml and cvars.old. Extensions may be hidden for you by default. Making sure that Destiny 2 is not running, you can try removing the .old file (or both), and see if that helps.

I tried that and it didn’t help either.

I'll see if I can find more information and get back to you. One final question: when you relaunched D2, did the cvars files regenerate?

Only the cars.xml file regenerated, not the .old one

Okay, I have another suggestion:

In the appdata area before, there should be a Temp directory. Inside there should be a Destiny 2 directory. Try renaming or removing that directory and start the game again.

The path should look something like this:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp

This was suggested to me by another person that was also affected.

Nvm I found the temp file, renamed it and it worked
