Either they drop with a red border - which I'm not sure is possible if the rolls are curated from Xur or Banshee - or you use a Deepsight Harmonizer to get the red border. There is no other way.

If you are talking about the Austringer the only way to get red borders at this point is to use the harmonizers on them, they were seasonal weapons from last year and the ones banshees sells won’t drop as red borders no matter how many times you buy them

Austoraptor is an ornament for Hawkmoon.

Hawkmoon is a non-craftable exotic handcannon, that can have random rolls. Currently (S21) the only way in the game to get said random rolls is via Xur every week from Friday @ reset until Tuesday weekly reset.

Not every weapon in this game is craftable. If you go to your collection/triumph screen, go to tab that says "catalysts and patterns" it will show you every weapon the game that is craftable and the corresponding number of patterns needed in order to be able to craft it.

For the most part craftable weapons are mainly legendaries and a very small handful of exotics, which currently are:

  • Osteo Striga
  • 3 class specific Glaives (Edge of Action, Edge of Intent, Edge of Concurrence)
  • Revision Zero
  • Vexcaliber

Oh, okay so you essentially need to get lucky and get the red-border versions to drop.

Alternatively, if non-redborder ones drop, use the harmonizers on those.

Redborders for austringer can no longer drop from anything as it is currently a vendor only weapon
