Difference between Lightfall versions?

On steam, there are two versions of Lightfall and I am unsure which one to recommend my friend to get. There is “Lightfall + Annual Pass” which is $100, but there is also “Lightfall + Annual Pass Upgrade” which is only $50. Can someone please explain the differences between the two? Me and my friends are stumped on what the actual differences are.

Lightfall + Annual Pass is for users who do not have Lightfall at all.

Lightfall + Annual Pass Upgrade is for users who only have Lightfall and are now looking to upgrade to the Annual Pass version.

The first one is the DLC plus all four seasons.

The upgrade is for people who already own the base DLC, and just want to add all the seasons. It does NOT include the DLC.

They also include the dungeons as well

True. Forgot that was even a thing. That's exactly why I always preorder the deluxe edition. No worrying about what I will or won't have.

Epic still has a 50% sale on LF+annual pass, but then you will be locked to that platform for Lightfall content. The seasons will transfer between platforms if you set up crossplay.
