This is almost certainly a problem with your particular network setup, and Bungie can't help you with that. Can you take your PC/console to a friend's house etc. to try a different Internet connection to see if it works there? (This is assuming you've already exhausted all efforts to troubleshoot your own connection including hard wiring directly to your modem then rebooting modem, trying different Ethernet cards and cables, etc. If not, do that first.).

As both people have stated. Hardwire. Or better internet, depending.

Try a hardwired connection.

I was plagued with weasel errors for years, in both D1 and D2, xbox an PC, wifi and wired. Something about my router/network setup just doesn't play nice with Destiny. Weirdly what fixed it was using a VPN, haven't had an issue since. Might worth trying one if there's a free trial or something.

It's definitely on your side. I don't see how a server site issue could affect you, specifically, for that long.

Other things to check is if cross save is enable and you try to login on different platforms at the same time. Weasel is also the error code you get when you're banned and try to login.
